Do you guys recommend these shoes for skating? Do they tear easily? Do they offer good lace protection? Are the sole's good/thick? My old pair old pair of
DC's have just died, they were made of a towelly fabric that griptape just tore through, and had little to no lace protection.

Hi Simon,
eS Square One's are not the most resiliant shoe. They are nice to skate but don't offer any lace protection and I find the soles go through really quickly. You might want to try something made of leather if you want this pair to last a bit longer. HTH |

I've never had the Manchester's but I expect they will be quite similar to the Square One's as they are quite a lightweight shoe.
